Accreditation

AOA
The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.


The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association designates this program for a maximum of 25.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

AAFP
The AAFP has reviewed 2023 MOMA Primary Care Roundup, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 08/03/2023 to 10/04/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Credit equivalencies:
AMA
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.

AAPA
AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for Category I credit from AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit ™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 25.0 hours of Category I credit for completing this program.

ursing
The Montana Board of Nursing allows continuing education credits that have been approved by “a professional organization that establishes criteria for continuing education in nursing, advanced nursing, medicine and other health care specialties.” Nurses may receive a certificate for 25.0 hours for completing this program.
