We are excited to announce the Montana Osteopathic Medical Association’s partnership with seven other state osteopathic associations in a virtual continuing medical education program – the VOCCME! This collaboration allows us to offer Montana physicians (and other healthcare providers) an extremely high-quality CME experience, with the flexibility we need as busy practicing physicians.

For some background, we were recently notified by the Billings Clinic that they would no longer be able to assist us in offering our annual conference typically held in August. Due to this, the MOMA Board of Trustees looked for other opportunities to ensure we could offer a high-quality CME experience for members. The VOCCME provides this opportunity!

As you may know, we have been recording our past conferences to be available on-demand as individual programs. The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) has been hosting these programs for us on their online learning center for the past four years. We have a strong relationship with MAOPS, and as the founders of the VOCCME, they provide us the perfect partner in this collaboration. With the VOCCME we not only are able to offer you the CME you need, but we are able to do it in a cost-effective manner that will also allow the association to continue to pursue its mission. Additionally, we are able to offer something we have never been able to do before – AMA PRA Category 1 credit! So regardless of your Board certification, the VOCCME, accredited for both AOA and AMA category 1, will meet your needs.

As this collaboration develops in the future, MOMA and our members will have the opportunity to be involved in the VOCCME’s program development by having representatives on the education team, and by providing faculty for the program. (If you are interested in either opportunity, please reach out to me!). I encourage you to give the VOCCME a try in 2025 so we (MOMA) can take your ideas and suggestions to the VOCCME planning committee. Your involvement also supports MOMA and our initiatives.

What makes the VOC different from other virtual programs? Quality and Flexibility.

  • Quality: Over 98% of the VOC attendees said they would recommend it to a colleague! That’s quality!

  • Flexibility: The VOC is all about flexibility! You have the flexibility to choose:

  1. When to Attend The on-demand program launches on February 14, 2025, and is available to complete through June 30, 2025!

  2. Where to Attend You can view from anywhere you have internet access – at your home, at the lake, at a ski resort – anywhere.

  3. What to Attend You can pick and choose from any of the 48 presentations in the VOCCME to customize the program for what you need. The sessions can be purchased in increments of 8 credits. The more you purchase, the more you save.
